Deciding which level language course
Our language course materials are designed in line with the Common European Framework, which has six levels from Beginner to Advanced. Read the descriptions below to see which best fits you or read here for more detail.
Beginner
I don't speak any of the language.
Intermediate
I can speak and understand reasonably well and can use basic tenses but have problems with more complex grammar and vocabulary.
CEFR: B1
Elementary
I can say and understand a few words and phrases.
CEFR: A1
Upper-Intermediate
I can communicate without much difficulty but still make mistakes and misunderstand sometimes.
CEFR: B2
Pre-Intermediate
I can communicate simply and understand in familiar situations but with some difficulty.
CEFR: A2
Advanced
I speak and understand very well but sometimes have problems with unfamiliar situations and vocabulary.
CEFR: C1/ C2
